You need a dedicated app to customize your home screen in style! This is the definitive version of the dress-up app that has all the dress-up materials!
With the Focus Mode introduced in iOS 15, you can customize notifications and screen display for different situations. But did you know you can also use Focus Mode to display a heart mark (♡) on your lock screen?
This customization has become quite popular! I’ll show you how to display the heart mark on your lock screen using iOS 18.
The ♡ displayed in the center bottom of the lock screen is you can set it through Focus Mode! Once set, the heart mark will also appear next to the clock on the top-left corner of your home screen.
Focus Mode is designed to minimize distractions by customizing notifications and screen settings. If you only want to display the heart mark without blocking notifications, make sure to adjust the following:
If you want to receive all notifications, select "Silence Notifications From" but avoidadding any contacts under the list.
Similarly, for app notifications, select "Silence Notifications From" and ensure no apps are added to the list.
By default, the lock screen shows both the ♡ and the name you entered (e.g., "♡ heart"). However, you can also enter symbols or emojis in the name field.
For example, if you put ♡ as the name, you can have just a row of hearts displayed on the screen. You can also combine them ♡ with other emojis or even include the name of your partner or favorite character for a personalized touch.
You can use Focus Mode’s scheduling feature to display different marks at different times. For instance, display a ♡ from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and a star after 5:00 PM. This way, you can switch up your lock screen marks throughout the day!
If the ♡ on your lock screen feels a bit too small, WidgetClub is recommended. It offers a heart widget that can be placed under the clock on your lock screen, enhancing the cuteness of your display!
