You need a dedicated app to customize your home screen in style! This is the definitive version of the dress-up app that has all the dress-up materials!
With iOS 26, Apple introduces the new Liquid Glass design—bringing a fresh, transparent, and stylish look to the iPhone home screen. In this guide, I’ll walk you through all the ways you can customize your home screen in iOS 26!

Want total freedom over wallpapers, icons, and widgets? WidgetClub lets you design your home screen exactly the way you want—with your own images, your favorite characters, or even your pets.
In older iOS versions, you had to use Settings or the Lock Screen to change wallpapers. With iOS 26, you can now do it straight from the home screen. (Note: wallpaper changes can’t be done from the lock screen anymore ⚠️)

iOS 26 adds a new Clear style for icons and widgets. While the default already has some transparency, Clear makes everything look extra frosted and glass-like 🧊

The Tinted feature also got an upgrade in iOS 26. Previously, only icon details could be recolored. Now you can choose between Light (change background colors) and Dark (classic tinting).

One of iOS 26’s coolest features, Spatial Scenes, makes photos look 3D. When added via the default Photos widget, your images appear with depth and move slightly as you tilt your iPhone—like living 3D photos!

Custom icons are still possible in iOS 26 using the Shortcuts app—though the process has slightly changed from iOS 18.
⚠️ Important: If you’re using the “Tinted” customization, it may also affect shortcut icons. To avoid this, keep customization set to Default.

Your custom icon now appears on the home screen!
💡 Want cute icon packs without the hassle? WidgetClub has tons of ready-to-use icons 🤍

In older iOS versions, customization included Light, Dark, Auto, and Tinted. With iOS 26, it’s now Default, Dark, Clear, Tinted. But don’t worry—Auto isn’t gone. Each mode still lets you set it to switch automatically (for example, following Night Shift to enable Dark Mode at night).

That’s how to customize the iOS 26 home screen using Apple’s new Liquid Glass design.
Widgets, wallpapers, and icons all look sleeker and more transparent than ever. Try out Clear mode, Spatial Scenes, and custom icons to give your iPhone a completely fresh look 🧊
With WidgetClub, your smartphone becomes super stylish 🧚 Not just icons—you can freely customize handy widgets too! We also recommend creating them using your favorite images. Be sure to check it out 👇
