Things to note

  • Remember that only the appearance of the icons has been changed, so do not uninstall the original app!
  • Be aware that notification badges may not be displayed due to strong Android restrictions!
  • If you are using the default home apps of Xiaomi and Xperia, the setting method is different. Please refer to the following video for details.

How to hide the original app icons on Android

As it is, the existing app icons will still be displayed, so you'll need to hide them.

1. On your home screen, long-press the app you want to hide.

2. Select "Remove" when the popup appears.

Do not choose "Uninstall"! ⚠️ Uninstalling will delete the app. We changed the app icon, but the app itself needs to remain installed as is.

For OPPO users: If you're using OPPO's Color OS home app (system launcher), you may not be able to hide apps by default. First, go to OPPO's "Settings" > "Home Screen & Lock Screen” > “Home Screen Mode”, then Switch to “Drawer mode”. Then, you can now hide your apps. Please long press the app you want to hide then tap “Delete”.( As for OPPO, “Delete” doesn’t mean “Uninstall”.)
