(Important note: To activate Standby Mode, ensure that your iPhone's side is perpendicular to the floor and that it is placed horizontally. Otherwise, Standby Mode will not activate.)

If Standby Mode Doesn't Activate, Here Are Four Things to Check

  • Did you turn on Standby Mode in your iPhone's "Settings"? (Refer to the "Preparations" section in this article)
  • Is your iPhone in the locked screen state, positioned horizontally, and connected to the charging cable?
  • Are you maintaining the same angle after connecting the charging cable? (It seems to be sensitive to hand movement 😢)
  • Have you tried too many times in succession? (Try removing the charger once and wait for about 5 seconds before trying again!)

By the way, if you want to exit Standby Mode, simply unplug the charger or switch your iPhone to a vertical position, and it will return to the normal screen automatically.

Please note that when setting this up, we found that for vertical-sized images, there were images that displayed nicely and those that didn't 😢. If the iPhone recognizes a clear image with faces, it will crop to feature the faces. However, for unclear images, the middle part of the vertical image will be cropped, and the result might not show faces clearly, so please be cautious!

Display a Large Clock on the "Clock" Screen!

The "Clock" screen allows for a prominently displayed clock! Who would have thought your iPhone could also serve as interior decor? (How extravagant...!) For those with older iPhones, updating to iOS 17 might give them a second life as interior decorations. 😂

It could be perfect for studying for exams or preparing for tests!

How to Set and Customize the Clock Screen

1.While Standby Mode is active, swipe from right to left to access the clock.

2.Swipe from top to bottom to switch to different clock designs!
